The Hall is excellently maintained to the highest order, has a large main hall which includes stage and is licensed for up to 120 people at a function. There is also a reading room, fully equiped modern kitchen, toilets, disabled toilet and showers
Outside we have parking on hard standing around the building. We also have a substantial field which can be used for camping or other outdoor activities.
WATERMILLOCK VILLAGE HALL
Our Village Hall is on the west side of Ullswater, 200 yards from the A592 lake road. It is an ideal centre for fell walking, sailing and many other outdoor activities. The Hall and adjacent field are available for daily, weekly or longer lets and can include camping.
We are situated about a mile from the newly created Ullswater Way which is a beautiful public footpath which is a complete circuit of Ullswater and can be walked as a whole or in part.

Watermillock Village Hall and its facilities (but not the kitchen, reading room or stage) will be opening from 1st September 2020 for activities approved by the Committee.
We hope you enjoy using the facilities and thank you for helping to keep everyone safe by following these instructions.

To ensure you are able to use the facilities safely, please read these simple instructions:
All users (Parents & guardians in particular) must read this guidance and ensure their families follow it carefully for the safety of themselves, their children & others.
The equipment in the building (including toilets, washbasins, tables and chairs) is checked between bookings for damage, wear & tear, but it is not sanitised or disinfected save by your organiser (please check that he/she has complied).
This is shared, publicly accessible equipment. You may wish to insure your group against infection and other risks, in your best interests as organizer.
Do not use enter the building or its environs if you or any member of your household has coronavirus symptoms or are self-isolating.
Make sure you and all your group use hand sanitiser immediately you enter the hall and again when leaving it and that everyone entering the building wears a face covering while in the building (subject to the any exceptions in government guidance). Encourage everyone to wash their hands frequently whilst in or about the hall and use the paper towels provided.
You MUST maintain social distancing from others who are not in your household and see that masks are worn as required by current regulations and guidance.
If your family is wearing disposable PPE, you MUST take it home with you. DO NOT LITTER.
Wash your hands thoroughly for at least 20 seconds with water and soap when you get home.
