WATERMILLOCK on ULLSWATER

Watermillock is situated on the west side of Lake Ullswater, the second largest lake and acclaimed by many to be the most beautiful. To find our more about this beautiful part of the English lake district visit the Ullswater web site The Village Hall is situated 200 yards off the A592 Penrith - Glenridding Road, on which there is a limited but regular bus service. It is an ideal centre for fell walking, sailing and many other outdoor activities. Boat trips, pony trekking and several interesting historic houses and gardens are within reasonable distance. The hall and adjacent field is available for both daily, weekly or longer lets and can include camping.

Description: The Hall is stone built with a slate roof and encircled with sufficient hard standing to park over a dozen cars with additional parking or camping available in the adjoining field. There is a public telephone at the main road junction 200 yards away. The Hall was internally refurbished in 2001
